Development of BiH Branded Products in the Livestock Sector under Special Quality Certification Schemes
Opis radnog mjesta
USAID/Sida’s Fostering Agricultural Market Activities (FARMA) project is soliciting proposals from local and regional business services providers, consulting agencies, and NGOs who are interested in offering their services for Development of BiH Branded Products in the Livestock Sector under Special Quality Certification Schemes. Interested firms, agencies, and NGOs that are legally registered can download the Request for Proposals (RFP) package from the FARMA website www.bosniafarma.ba. The RFP package includes: Instruction to bidders, Proposal submission requirements, and the Scope of Work. The Proposal must be delivered to FARMA’s office in Sarajevo, Kolodvorska 12/3rd Floor or Tuzla, Marsala Tita 34 A/3 no later than 4.00 p.m. on September 21st, 2010.

FARMA expects that the work will start in October 2010, and be completed by February 28, 2011. On September 7thth, 2010 at 11:00 am, FARMA will organize an information session to discuss the Scope of Work and to provide instructions for submitting proposals to interested bidders. The session will take place at FARMA’s offices in Sarajevo, Kolodvorska 12/3rd Floor. All organizations interested in submitting proposals are encouraged to participate. Questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted to pdfarma@bosniafarma.ba and will be accepted until September 3rd, 2010 COB. No questions related to this RFP will be answered after this date. All clarifications and directions will be issued by email address pdfarma@bosniafarma.ba or published on the FARMA website www.bosniafarma.ba. Statements and/or interpretations by any other persons are invalid.

Required Qualifications To be eligible for funding, the Applicant must meet the following criteria: A. Submit a reference list that includes services provided during the last two years in targeted area. B. Submit a budget which will be reviewed for cost reasonableness, allowability and allocability. The budget will be reviewed for accuracy and congruity with the activities proposed in the technical application C. The applicant must submit a power point presentation that demonstrates its qualification and experience in training small scale farmers on how to access specific certification schemes D. Printed materials such are: publications, brochures and similar shall be included in the Proposal as applicable.
